How easy and secure is it to order?

Ordering from Cranstons on-line is very simple and quick. Simply select the products you wish to order and add them to your basket, when your finished shopping you will need to checkout and pay.

Ordering from Cranstons is very secure. We use an internationally recognised third party payment provider - Sage Pay to ensure all our customers have complete peace of mind.

Where can Cranstons deliver?

Cranstons can deliver to most parts of the mainland UK.

Unfortunately we cannot currently deliver outside the UK or to the following locations: Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly and Isle of Wight.

Delivery restrictions also apply to certain postcodes in the Highlands and Islands.

Some postcodes cannot be serviced and other postcodes have a '£5 delivery' supplement.

Highlands and Island postcodes which we CAN deliver to (at an additional £5 charge*): Highlands and Island postcodes which we CANNOT deliver to:

*If you live in a surcharge area it is important that you select 'Highlands and Islands £5 surcharge area' rather than 'Mainland UK' in the drop down delivery area box. When this is selected the £5 surcharge will be added.

What will home delivery cost?

Carriage for goods with a value £50-£79.99 will be charged at £5

Carriage for goods with a value over £80 will be Free of Charge

Please note that a minimum order of £50 applies

There will be a £5 delivery surcharge to all orders to certain Highlands and Islands postcodes, this charge is applied to all order values.

When will I receive my delivery?

To ensure you receive the freshest meat possible Cranstons only deliver on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Our courier will deliver the goods between 8am and 5pm. If you are out, the courier will leave the goods in the place you specify when you place the order (with a designated neighbour/ in the porch/ in the shed etc) and post a card through your door explaining where the goods have been left.

How will the product be delivered?

Cranstons use a tried and tested national food courier. All our meat is expertly packaged to ensure that it stays a fresh as possible on its journey to you.

Cranstons Sausage, Beef Mince, Burgers and Kebabs are either packaged in food-safe polythene bags or on polythene trays and over-wrapped with film. All other products are vacuum packed.

The individual packs are surrounded with refrigerant pads and packed into a strong highly insulated shipping box (double wall corrugated cardboard and high density polystyrene pads).

What shelf life will the product arrive with?

Each product is individually labelled with a use by date. As a guideline our sausage, mince and barbecue products will be delivered with 4 days life and our vac packed meat will be delivered with a minimum of 12 days life. Please refer to individual pack labels for details.

Can I freeze the product?

Cranstons meat can be safely frozen. If you freeze your meat on arrival the pack use by date becomes irrelevant. As a general rule, we would recommend that your freeze our bacon and sausage for a maximum of 3 months, and our fresh meat for a maximum of 6 months. After this period, although still safe to eat the flavour begins to deteriorate.
