In 2003, our successful stores in Carlisle, Brampton, Penrith and Hexham were joined by the purpose built Cranstons Cumbrian Food Hall, situated on the outskirts of Penrith, just off Junction 40 of the M6. The Food Hall has since gained an enviable reputation among customers far and wide as a convenient and excellent source for the best in Cumbrian produce. We are honoured to have been recognised with many awards for our produce and our Food Hall, including the accolade of North West Region Best Rural Retailer 2005. In November 2009 we opened our extended sales floor at the Food Hall, and our first on-site restaurant, Cafe Oswald's, specialising in the sort of fresh, local produce for which Cranstons has become known.
Whether your wish is for local Cumbrian sourced lamb, poultry, game or beef, smoked salmon or potted shrimps, local pates, farmhouse cheeses, delicious home baked cakes and biscuits, jams and preserves, or award winning breads, Cranstons Cumbrian Food Hall has something for you.

Cranstons have expanded the range of offal products on sale at our award winning Food Hall in Penrith. Lamb and Ox hearts, beef skirt and sweetbreads are now being sold alongside kidneys and liver for the first time in years due to a resurgence in customer demand
