Our Award-Winning Cumbrian Food Hall is now even Bigger and Better!Our award-winning Cumbrian Food Hall has recently grown to accommodate even more delicious Cumbrian produce, and our new restaurant, Café Oswald’s. Of course, the Cumbrian Food Hall is still home to all Cranstons superb locally-sourced fresh meats, Cumberland Sausage, home-cured bacon and a host of other award-winning products, on which our reputation for quality has been built.

Now, these Cranstons favourites have been joined by even more new products sourced from over 35 local Cumbrian producers.

All the produce in the Food Hall carries the stamp of the Cranstons Food Philosophy, as expressed by our MD, Philip Cranston:

Our new expansion means that our ground floor retail space has grown by over 30% in order to accommodate some fantastic new products including:
  1. A new fresh fish counter staffed and stocked by Scotts of Penrith
  2. A new patisserie counter stocking Saunders Chocolates and a delicious range of locally produced cakes and desserts
  3. An expanded range of fine wines and specialist, locally produced ales
  4. A larger range of speciality breads, all baked on the premises
  5. More space for fresh fruit and vegetables supplied by James’ of Penrith
With the addition of Café Oswald’s, ample free parking, and opening from 8am-6pm, Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm on Sundays, Cranstons Cumbrian Food Hall provides the perfect destination for a quality food shopping experience.
