Cranstons have bought the former HSBC bank in Brampton for a new shop that is set to open in October.
The relocation of the existing town centre shop, currently opposite the bank, will see a 1,600 square foot increase in floor space and an expansion in the range of products available to shoppers.
‘We are looking forward to bringing our Food Hall concept to Brampton,’ said Managing Director Philip Cranston. ‘The range will increase to include more butchery products as well as goods that shoppers can find in our existing Food Halls at Penrith and Orton Grange, including jams and chutneys, baked goods, wine and beer from only the best local suppliers.
‘The new shop represents our ongoing commitment to the growth of our company and will increase the number of staff we are able to employ in future.’
The move coincides with a 5000 square foot extension to the Penrith production facility, due to be finished in June.
