Cranstons brand new Food Hall at Orton Grange will open to the public at 11am on Tuesday 19th of November. Offering customers Cranstons farm fresh quality meats and a whole host delicious local produce supplied by over 30 Cumbrian suppliers.
In true Cranstons tradition a ribbon of sausages will be cut to declare the site officially open. Octogenarian Harry Tiffen who worked on Orton Grange Farm throughout his working life has been asked to cut the sausages marking the latest step in the farms diversification from traditional dairy farm to a retail and leisure complex.
Visitors to the new Food Hall on the grand opening day will enjoy a whole host of ‘foodie delights’ in keeping with Cranstons reputation for championing quality local produce.
· Opening day shopper will be offered a welcome drink and a slice of Cranstons GIANT OPENING DAY CAKE made by Bryson’s of Keswick (hurry as when it’s gone its gone!)
· Cumbrian Chef John Crouch will be cooking up simple Christmas Canapé ideas & handing out tasters and recipe leaflets between 11am and 4pm
· Shoppers can sample Cranstons spectacular Christmas ranges—Cranstons butchers will ensure we have lots of counter top tasters on offer throughout the day
· OPENING DAY GIVE-AWAYS: The first 200 customers spending £20 will receive a smart pinstripe Cranstons Shopping Bag . PLUS EVERY CUSTOMER DURING OPENING WEEK * will receive a voucher sheet packed with savings.
Cranstons MD Philip Cranston invites the public to come along and have a look around ‘we hope people will come out in force to celebrate the opening with us and enjoy the opening day celebrations. Once the sausages are cut and the site is declared open CRANSTONS FOOD HALL AT ORTON GRANGE will be open daily trading from 8:30am-6:30pm Monday to Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sundays.
