Café Oswald’s at Cranstons Cumbrian Food Hall on Ullswater Road, Penrith is hosting a six week exhibition of work from Art By Camera, which is now in its third week.
Art By Camera, based at Redhills just outside Penrith, is a collaboration between friends Sue Kane and Richard Harrison. Their mutual enjoyment of photography and creative backgrounds has captured some amazing moments on camera.
Sue studied Art in Lancaster and now her interest in photography has led her to selling images through exhibitions and the Art By Camera Gallery. Richard is an experienced freelance photographer, who always has his camera on him.
The exhibition, which is in its third week, will run until 29th March 2017 and features photographs of well-known locations in the Lake District, such as the illustrious Boat House on the shores of Ullswater and the reservoirs Haweswater and Thirlmere.
They said: "A fleeting moment captured by camera, is what we look for when we are out with our cameras. We hope to reflect the mood we feel the photograph produces rather than just recording the scene, hence our strap line, 'reality with imagination'. We hope you enjoy looking at our photographic images as much as we have enjoyed producing them."
